Not necessarily true. Tmobile has reciprocal agreements with AT&T for GSM roaming coverage. As does Verizon and Sprint do for CDMA.

Of course I was speaking in the language of JM, to reflect the tone I thought you yourself projected.

Perhaps not "most"... but when the iPhone first came on the market, estimates of sales were a "bit" under reality.

Oh that's right, only for voice, not 3G data. My bad.

I guess the same could be said for Verizon and Sprint on the 4G solutions they are rolling out. Sprint has been rolling out WiMax and Verizon is rolling out LTE. However, Sprint can convert the entire WiMax deployment to WiMax/LTE by changing the cards in the racks (or so they said a couple weeks ago).

Well I had a Gen 1 and Gen 2 iPhone. The mail and phone were so unreliable, I went back to Blackberry and Verizon. No problems with them at all, and they're great to deal with with early upgrades and plan changes when you talk to a live person there. I can not say the same for AT&T. Anyway, I'll get one when VZ has them. I think it's inevitable.

They were a 3rd tier carrier... that's what happens when you start that way.

I can honestly say... I have know more idea what Sprint is doing than the general public right now. They have dropped all their outside support, and ate their young in the last few years.

BB pushes their mail... I like that feature. You can BUY it with the iPhone, something similar I mean.

Yes, the mail is much better. Sounds like the phone calls and data are still an issue. I can wait. I like my Storm 2 even though everyone laughs at it. At least until they need to make a call!

People laugh at your Storm? I just updated to V. 5.0.0.328

My Storm is great at listening to iPhones drop their calls.

A lot of people hate the Storm. Very few, if any of them, have actually used it. iPhone is indeed a cult as is Android. Good for them though.

A lot of people on CrackBerry hated them... They resented the Storm folks, viewed as gadget posers, while "real" BlackBerry folks had a "reason" for having them.

They got over it.
