Thanks Greg. Will be looking for your feedback on the k60 Scouts.

This tire has done around 7500kms now and is at the end of it's useful life "for me". Others would drag another few 1000kms out of this tire but they are way to squared off, and down to about 3mm of thread.
I have a set of the new k60 Scouts (150 & 110) on the way and look forward to seeing if they retain a round profile or square off a bad as these.
These are a great general purpose do it all tire and well worth the investment.

Greg.

Only problem is that the speedo is disabled along when the TCS goes off.
I will work on rectifying that soon though.

Greg.
I had a hair brained idea of putting a switch in to put the front wheel speed sense on the rear wheel speed sense going in to the ABS ECU.TCS wouldn't function, rear wheel ABS wouldn't function and the speedo would work fine. All good until front wheel ABS is considered as both front and rear ABS would trigger and I'm not sure how the rear brake would behave with ABS pulsing on a brake that hasn't locked up. I did say it was a hair brained idea.

A bit of left brain thinking going on there, but who knows, it might work.

Report your findings after the mod...

Not me. I'm more than happy with ABS staying on when off the tarmac - it does a better job than I of pulling up the bike to a stop on the slippery stuff - and TCS is pretty easy to turn off as it is. I just posted it as something for those who wish to push the envelope more than I to consider.

So just to help the confused to decide on a preference of decal color for the blue/silver bikes I thought I would include a side by side pic..

I might leave the silvers on for a while - They've kinda grown on me

Good luck.

Greg.

I think the silver looks great, breaks up the colours more evenly. Those stickers likely to last like the ridgies?
Love the thread.

With reference to US marketing photo's and video's the USA model will have Black side panels an all Black seat and no Yamaha stripe decal. Gotta wonder which decal will look the best in America.

Greg did some photo shop stuff on his bike to look like a US model with some of his decals on it. I'm not sure of the location of that post? Greg??

One of his photos is on my desk top now.

Because of those photos it helped me pick the ones I purchased from him. Very nice quality decal set.

I've got a raven coming, and I have the red ones from Greg. I think they will be the cat's meow for the Raven bike. For blue, it is a tossup methinks.

The post showing all the colors on my bike was on page 100: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...95933&page=100

I did a photochop (not very well) of the black panels and seat for you guys in the EWE-ES-OF-AY which can be seen at the bottom of that page.

I like the black and the silver on my bike and remain undecided so I am actually running silver on the left and black on the right at the moment

Greg.

I like this,

I am expecting more pics in from customers very soon.
One has the silver bike with black decals (I think), the other is a black bike and he has both red and grey stickers..

Greg.

We have chosen a very high grade material for these decals. We then laminate all decals with a tough clear skin so they should certainly perform as good as the original decals.

My bike gets DIRTY - REGULARLY , and therefore gets washed regularly.
It's been in the extremes with dust and covered with mud but I am yet to find any scratches or marks on the decals.

Some of the terrain we ride is amongst tight trails lined with Dryandra (very course and prickly bush) that can do this type of damage to the side panels. This was the result of a Dryandra limb caught between the black plastic bar and the side panel. Not saying the decals would stand up to this, but they've been given every opportunity.

Still looking as good as new (sorry about the focus)

Undecided, so why not do the Chameleon..

Greg.

I only did a couple of sets of silver in the first batch.
The entire first production batch is just about sold out now and I have had a lot of call for the silver so we will offer them as a standard product in the future.
