which one is better 478 or zumo?

I have the 478c .. but it's harder to use on a motorcycle
Great for the car. Would be great on a boat ( I don't have)
Has anyone switched from a 478 to a zumo?

I've got the 376c and a Zumo 450, they both do some things better than the other. I've been thinking of selling the Zumo and getting the newer 660 model.

478. Had a Zumo, almost gave it away....... Now if Garmin had kept all of the 478 features and added the Zumo ones...... that would have been a winner.

Some folks like the power, flexibility, and features of the 478. Others like the simplicity of the Zumo.

Positives of the 478:
- better charting
- much better screen
- can look at the screen and figure out where you are

Positives of the Zumo:
- good mount
- touch screen
- Bluetooth
- SD card compatible
- buttons on left

I've had both, and much prefer the 478. But many prefer the Zumo.

Steve W hit the nail on the head (in my opinion).
