Seneca Rocks, WV Dirt/Gravel/Backroads?

I am looking for recommendations on roads in the Seneca Rocks, WV area that would be fun for a backroads exploring ride. Please recommend your favorite dirt, gravel, paved, or jeep roads that would be suitable for easy riding (2-up on a 650). TIA

When are ya coming up this way? I am over in western part of VA not far from Seneca Rocks and would be happy to tag along if schedule permits.

It will be next spring. I am 425 miles away but I am planning something for 2005.

There are more dualsport riders here every day (like me!). The northern Va. folks end up down that way (Seneca) for lunch pretty regular. I'm sure Keith and others want to know about gravel and fire roads. I do !

I was hoping for specific road names and locations so I could find them on a map and then mark them with waypoints in my GPS.

Stop being so anal. Look at a map, or mapping software, see something that blows your dress up and go ride to it. Find your own ride. The roads are there. Just look for them. That is half the fun.

Smith Mountain ore by Dolly Sods another good one, 72 to CR10, CR35 and 44 leading into Dublin. Just goes on and on. As Slimy says, you can't miss.

Sorry, I am a planner by nature.

I want to map out a 125-150 mile ride around the Seneca Rocks area that will be used in a group ride. I have limited amounts of time to prepare, and I am several hundred miles away, so I hoped to profit from the experiences of others. I have lots of maps and software mapping programs and will use them to plot a route guided via waypoints in my GPS. What I really hope to avoid is riding near something that is worth seeing/riding (like an overlook, waterfall, or road up to the top of a mountain) because I am blindly following the lines on a map.
