Thanks for the great report. I'll be leaving from York, Pa on Saturday with two other riders and going to Labrador City. I'm sure we will be on some of the same roads you were as there are not many choices in Labrador. We can make use of some of your camping an food info and it is much appreciated.

Thanks again for the great report!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking for a list of bike/ATV shops along the TLH. Has this list already been compiled?

It's not going to be much of a list. There might be one in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, but aside from that I don't think there are any.

Great report. I went through about 1 month after you and unfortunately it was a bit boring. The road was in such good shape, there was no challenge. It's amazing the work they have done that far out in the middle of nowhere. Anybody considering doing this better go ASAP, they are paving very fast, soon there won't be any gravel road left :(

Awesome! Looks like this trip was more more about how big your balls are as opposed to how dirt worthy your bike is! Well done to both of you. How did you manage to pack all that wine? lol

That was one great ride you took me on!

I'm going out that way with a group of riders leaving Toronto July 16th of 2011, although they want to do Newfoundland first then the TLH I'm trying to convince them that I'd rather do the TLH on fresh knobs and have some fun on it. :)

Thanks again for sharing some great photographs!

Thumb Two New Brunswick KLR's

Thanks Col. for the great report on the Trans Labrador. Awesome pictures! I sure appreciate your detailed information.

Myself and a buddy who have been riding together for too many years, we're both midlife if we live to be 108, are going to do the TLH this summer on KLR's. We leave from Shediac NB on July the 3rd for a counter clockwise loop.

Your information will really help us prepare.
