Volcanoes Schmalcanoes Trippin' the NW

Day riding is all I have been able to do of late. Here is a quick little jaunt up to a place called Beacon Rock.

Met up with Clapper r6 in Camas and we headed for the hills. It is a great twisty road and here the pavementt ends is where the beauty begins.

After a short break to enjoy the views of the water it was back on the bikes in search of vistas.
In the Pacifac Northwet it is rare indeed to have the skies not filled with view-blocking clouds.

A look back down the ravene we just rode up.

Ya gotta love it when you get to a junction and know there is not a bad choice to be had. (We peeled off to the right at this point)

Which took us to this view of Mt Hood.

More volcanoes to come.
