Ouch...that's a 4 hour round trip for dinner. Maybe next time.

Might make the breakfast though, although I have absolutely no interest in riding DS in 100+ degree heat indexes. Probably do a road run from there if anyone's interested

Check page 1 post 5.

I'll keep the dinner schedule current with all the info there.

I don't plan on tracking any info on associated rides as I figure that will be organized independently in the ongoing thread by those who want to go.

The Beacon Light is about 2 miles east of the intersection of hwys 100 and 7, on hwy 100.

The Santa Fe Diner is at the intersection of 247 and OLD hwy 7 (Santa Fe Pike).
I called the Santa Fe Diner and they said they were open 7-2 on Sunday. I was not able to talk to anyone at the Beacon Light but I have had Sunday breakfast there several times. I'll keep calling them to confirm they are open for dinner.

cdq3, if you would like to show us an alternate dirt route, I'm game.

I'm up for a road run... My short legs and GSA make off road a real challenge and in this heat I'd rather explore the curvy stuff instead anyhow.
