F650/700GS + Heidenau K60 + Pressure

Hey

I'm asking this specifically because we run tires tubeless. The last three years i have had a K60 on the back with a TKC in the front... I'm switching this year to K60 front and back. I put the tires on today.

Question, what pressure do you all run? I have always used the recommended pressure under the seat. So about 32 upfront and 40 in back.

I do much more on my bike then i think it was intended for as far as back roads. I have ridden the UTBDR, COBDR, (at least most of it), etc... i only mention that because if i just rode on the tarmac i wouldn't even be asking...

Since we are on tubeless tires, i have always used the higher recommended pressures so as not to hurt the rim. I was riding the COBDR, when a friend on a 1200GS bent his mag rim.

Just curious???

Oh ya... forgot to add this...

Our front tire is rated at a max pressure of 36 psi

Our back tire is rated at a max pressure of 44 psi

Here is a link to the HEIDENAU tire Spec sheet.
