So I finally made a hardbag decision for those long road/offroad trips (not the single track stuff - for that I run Ortlieb softbag + dry dufflebag set up)...

Hepco & Becker Gobi's in Black, I was worried about the whole 'They're WIDE' issues, but they aren't anything like people go on about, they come off in about 15 seconds (yes for BOTH !) and the topload opening is a really nice space over trying to fit something into a narrow aluminum bag. I would still consider the Happy trails (that was the NEAR 1st runner up) but for both Roadtrips AND running around town, these are definately looking to fit the bill...

If anyone has any questions, holler to me and I'll do my best to measure or find out/ try things out.
