Then and Now

My friend came buy with his 74 R90 cafe . What a cool ride. He just finished it. Here's a photo of his 74 cafe and my stock 74.
Check out his build thread for better pictures:

Two very nice rides. Well done on the cafe, very clean. I'm still waiting for the return of our 77 R100-7 trans from the bay area.

Buddy of mine painted that bike. Had an opportunity to look it over all apart. Very cool bikes.

A tip of the hat to both of you. I've had the pleasure of seeing FI's black bike in person, and to say that it's been beautifully restored, is a huge understatement! Very well done!

What a fantastic way to finish a 4-month build! Good people, good work, good results. Fast Idles's expertise really sped up completion and gave me the opportunity to get a few rides in before the end of this season. I look forward to raiding your beer fridge in the near future.

Your cafe is definitely way cool. I really enjoyed working on it. We'll give you a shout next time we are in your neck of the woods. Like to swing by and check out the R27! Love those old bikes.
