RallyMoto and Fastway both make direct mount dampers for the ADV and SE.

I'm not claiming they are better or worse than the Scotts just offer other options if you don't want to replace the triples.

I really like your idea ... simple, stout.

It appears that it might negate the need for bar risers (?) which is also a good thing.

I sent a PM to '666' to get my name on the list if he's able to find somebody to produce a first run of these things.

Shuffler,

You will need a custom bar riser for this to work.
The OEM mount will interfere with the Scott.
This is why I had to move it up and slightly forward.
Works well for me since I'm 6'1". and like to stand on my pegs while off road.

FYI no machining was ever done on the stock triple.
The adapter will fit just nicely within the 2 bosses.

It sure was nice of KTM to place all the necessary tapped holes on the triple and bike frame

OK we must be twins...I too am 6'1" and prefer to stand when riding the technical stuff.

I already have Touratech risers ... would those work?

Otherwise what riser kit do you use?
