A V-Strom, A KLR, and PBR.
So scrminbanshee and I end up riding out following the St Joe river, up over FS Rd 388 into St Regis.
Stopped in Avery for a cheeseburger at this place:
This dudes been waiting a while:
The temp was in the 80’s so no need to gather firewood.
Had to dust off the cans
Bear & saws
Some ‘On-the-fly’ pics.
Seems to be enough right hand curves one would believe we would make a circle.
Even the river is getting dizzy
Only to be slowed by this PBR chick
The river didn’t actually go in circles; the left turns were blind so I put the camera down.
Looking back into Idaho
Some guy on an RT went by. We waved. He didn’t.
Coming down off the top was real loose gravel and neither of us had knobs. Sucked. Got behind a cage with Jersey plates. For about a minute.
After the dust the hardball was good to be on.
Stopped to wash the dust out of my eyes.
Here comes scrminbanshe
It’s now about five o’clock. Scrminbanshee is suppose to be in Spokane right about now.
There’s only one thing left to do. The speed ‘limit’ on I-90 in Montana and most of the Idaho Panhandle is 75mph. Plus whatever.
Scrminbanshee ski’s and wanted to check out Lookout ski at the state line area and get a pic for his Mom.
That’s him above the sign
The best way to wash off the dust

I love that area! Hope to finally get back up there, but this time on my bike. Upper St. Joe great fly fishing. Also Clarks Fork near St. Regis.
