3000 year old road

I went looking for the second oldest road in the World (built 3807 or 3806 BC) .......... and kinda found it, trouble is they keep it preserved under water and couldn't get the bike near it.... so this isn't a long story & not very adventurous, but it is a bit educational

The picture below is outside the nature reserve - the rhyne seen here runs kinda parallel with the ancient 'Sweet Track' - which is the name of the ancient roadway and in fact a raised timber walkway built by stone age man to get through what was (and still is) marshland.

The second oldest road is in there - no really it is kept under water
