Ha! Lots of truth to that last statement. I've done some crazy shit over the years - adventure racing in the 90's, 4 wheeling for the last 2 decades, rock climbing, mountain biking, weekends in Vegas I don't remember but nothing I've done has hooked me like riding a dual-sport w/ all my camping gear on the back. Just something undeniably fun about living off a motorcycle in the middle of the mountains or desert. Hell, I don't need to tell you guys though!

Wow - what a great trip Bret! Bike performed great and it looks like you planned it just enough to allow for more than a bit of exploration. Love it when a plan comes together!

Would like to get out your way and ride/camp/shoot photos sometime! My personal RR on a recent ride up to Big Bear Lake, CA (not cool enough or multi-day enough for ADVrider though!).
