I'v run the trail to Saltery many times. That was my favorite place to go on the 4 wheeler. I used to tear the silvers up on ultralight at Saltery Creek. Thanks for the shots and helping me reflect back on the amazing place that is Kodiak AK.

Thanks for the pictures. I lived there for eight years, Kodiak is my favorite place on earth. I had a house in Bell's flats, watched goats and bears on the mountains. Ahh good times!!!!

I was stationed there in 2000-2001 at the ESU. Absolutely loved it! Hope to go back someday.

Great pics spice. Wife and I visited there in June this year and enjoyed every minute. Met several Kodiak adv'ers on the north bound ferry as most (including us) were headed to d2d. The road to the launch facility is now rated as one my all-time favorites and a will-do-again. 40+ miles of incredible twisties and fantastic scenery, plus we had sun at fossil beach!
You live in a great place! (and after seeing your rig, I'm wondering if a gear-up ought to be in my future, hmm, multi-season ability, carry grandkids...) |
