Joes a great guy. If you snapped him half he'd have Guzzi written through the middle. If you go to his house you'll laugh at what's in the kitchen.

He sold this on ebay a few weeks ago.

This is a mates and was up for £3000 but had no takers. The Triumph dealer, where the picture was taken, valued it at £1000 against a new Bonnie.

Quota that sold for £2200 - had been advertised at £2750.

My 2001 Cali - sold for £3000 to the only person who answered the ads. I thought I was going to have to drop much lower to move it.

I know they aren't Le Mans but it gives you an idea on the pricing.

The bike on the right was less than £2k to buy and has recently been sold on Ebay.

Those are some amazing prices for some amazing bikes

This bike is in mint condition with only 3,724 miles.. I'm not certain this bike is worth $20k, but I'm not sure I'd let it go for anything less? This is probably the nicest series 1 lemans you'll ever come across? If interested I might be open to trading for the following: 60's/70's muscle car, truck, motorcycles, lawn care equipment, basically let me know what you might have that's cool?

It morphed into the red bike and was sold on Ebay. I'll ask him how much for.

I'll ask him. He ended up chopping his T140 in against a new Enfield 500 Efi so may well keep the 1000s.

I've just had a look at our local Guzzi dealers website. They have just sold a 78 Le Mans for £3,000 so it isn't all the dealers asking high prices. Probably just the Southern dealers (again) far too many folk down there with more money than sense.

Rockinghams website is always worth keeping an eye on. Mark the owner is a decent bloke and his bikes are always good. I kkep looking at the little Douglas he has in http://www.meadeanhosting.co.uk/rcands/

His emails m.j.kemp(@)talktalk.net obviously without the brackets round the @

It's up for £3,000. Micks a precision machinist so everything is as you'd expect from somebody in that profession.

Nope! It's just a pile of bits at the minute. The sale of the 1000S is going to fund a comprehensive rebuild. It's a Mk 2 not a Mk 1.
