Breakfast at Dale's... Nanc is a wonderful hostess and it was an awesome start to a beautiful day....
  Talking shop, trying on the Giant Loop bag... I think it's gonna fit the KLX just perfect... now how to pack?    Off to the top....  Hmph, nothing but Harleys... they knew it was going to be a perfect day for riding... My Handsome Escorts... Thanks Gentlemen!    Not the BM but another survey marker....    damn pic won't flip and stick.... ~whatever~ look sideways it's worth it.    A wedding being set up so we were trying to be discreet..   A little critter amongst the rocks.... chipmunk..  Ah, the Geological BM ...  Dale is a former Geologist (?) very informative (detailed!) about the types of rocks, the region, how it was formed, the fault lines, the approximate age of the rocks, etc. very interesting and educational for those that didn't pay attention back in High School. I need to ride with him more often... it awakens the dormant knowledge of my high school education.... but now it's MUCH more interesting than back then. We headed back down and took out separate ways at the Bruce Road Circle Jerk... Bill South, Dale West, and I went North..... rode along the Green Bluff fields, freshly mown hay, signs hawking Cherries, fruits, and various item, the labor of the local farmers. Decided it was time for a break. Apple pie and Ice Cream? mmmm.... oh wait what is this?  Strawberry Rhubarb and Vanilla Ice Cream with a Carmel Mocha Latte -- ICED won out... Settled down to enjoy the festivities.  They were having a bit of a gathering...  A two man band playing oldies...  Flowers for Ladybug...    Gave up my comfortable chair and table but found another shady spot... I could have taken a nap...  and across the way...  Damn I love my bike! Took a "oh heck, where does this road go" route back home... Nope couldn't tell you the route I took... Just kept Mt. Spokane on my right and headed in a northerly direction... I'd run into something I recognized....

Great pics! Great ride!
It was a wonderful day spent with you and Bill. I'll try to get some pics up here ASAP. Right now I've got the bike pulled apart; wiring in a USB plug, changing oil and filters, and thinking about changing the coolant. But I keep smiling thinking about the fun ride.
I seriously hope that the three of us (or more) can do a bunch more of these this summer and fall. Nanc will love your pics!  Dale, the Old Fart

Nice - Glad you had a good time.
I like the flower but I think I'd rather have the pie and ice cream this time.  (no wonder my riding clothes don't fit)
