Well, I forgot the landlord is supposed to be here this weekend to replace the sprinklers in the front yard. I don't know which day. I just left him a message. I offered to help and I've been after him to fix them for a while so I should be here for that. I'll let you know as soon as he calls back.

A maybe...

We just moved in from Lake Elsinore. Not quite settled, but the mrs. may turn me loose to get me out of her hair...

Well, the landlord didn't call back. If I don't hear from him tomorrow then I'll come riding.

Ride

I'll see if I can get a kitchen pass as well. I'm in Gardnerville riding Vic Wilson's old XR600R, prepped by Baja Designs.......

If I'm running late, where is a good pick up point for about 10:00 am ish?.......

I'll be there at the BLM office. Might be a slight bit late but plan to leave the house in the Gardnerville Ranchos no later than 8.

TroyinTahoe, if you get away late look for us at the Junction of Brunswick Canyon Road and Sunrise Pass.

Along the route there is gas available in Wellington, Walker and Bridgeport. Word of warning, Walker Burger only takes cash.

Jerry,

I look forward to hooking up and riding with you. I really enjoyed the three day ride out of Ridgecrest a couple of years ago.

Good Stuff!

Had a good time. Enjoyed meeting y'all. We definitely need to do it again.

As an FYI, I did the rest of the loop, communed with some cowboys and Texas Longhorn after coming out Risue Pass, lolly gagging on Bircham Flat road to do some exploring on John C. Fremont's route through that are in January of 1844, played in some single track off Pine Nut Road and pulled into home at 5:30.

Is there consistently fuel in Wellington? I was working on a similar route but went through Buckboard General Store in Smith because I wasn't sure.

Pat,

Great route today. I'll arrange for a longer 'kitchen pass' next time and bring the 450.

Good times!

Because it is close, about 4 miles, I've always lumped in Buckboards when I think of gas in the Smith Valley.
