Good ride today. Scorpion - Heal up quick. We rode that granit single track the opposite direction, it was awesome and we found some other sweet tracks over there. See you next weekend.

I know this section well. Hope the injury is minor and you heal up soon. Off to Moab in the morning. Save a spot for the old guy....

Today work sucks, so I am thinking about riding this weekend. Who is up for Sunday? What do you want to do? We have some trails to still ride on Peavine or back out to Hungry Valley for some single track.

Post up with your thoughts.

It's getting hot so my vote is to explore more in the woods, and maybe brent & RenoGeorge can give us a tour.

Sorry, I headed out on a 10 day Northern Nevada off-road trek this Friday so I am out this weekend and next. Have fun!

Austin, Eureka and Ely Dual Sport Ride

After having a great time doing a dual sport ride a month ago in Nevada between Big Pine, CA, Tonopah and Austin, I'm planning another longer ride from Tonopah to Austin, Eureka and Ely in mid June.

I am selecting those areas because of the high elevation and cooler temps and it looks like a great place to explore.

If any of you have any ride reports of this area or links to ride reports you can reference, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm planning my route blind since I have never been to these areas other than on the pavement on a street ride.

We will haul our bikes to Tonopah and start from there and head to Ophir Pass to the north. I hope we can make it through by then since I understand they don't clear the snow on this 10,000 ft pass and just wait for it to melt.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hope you heal up quick. Sounds like your lowering the Berg. That would make one heck of a cornering beast I think. After I went to stiffer springs I could never get it to corner as well as the stock springs. That lower CG thing.
Where are these pics from? Like to ride there.

Hey TR where you been?
Yup lowering about 1.5" then adjusting from there.
Trying to make an attempt to actually touch the ground when needed.
Been struggling with the height but love the travel.

That trail is off of Dog Valley IIRC
We're planning on getting a woods ride together soon out of Truckee.
Come out with us anytime
