You guys are killing me. Nothing, then a big bike ride and a little bike ride on the same day. I was already thinking seriously about trail riding with some Sacto guys out of Foresthill.

Old, slow and confused.....

Henness Pass sounds tasty- two more possible days for the bill of sale I need for my registration to show up in the mail. Do you have a standard meeting place in Truckee?

If anyone from Reno shows up we can meet somewhere down here and slab it to Truckee or take Dog Valley to Henness Pass.

I'm out for the big bike ride, but if anyone from Reno is heading to Gardnerville, lemme throw my bike in your trailer

For the Sunday 950 ride, what time? I'm in Reno. Who wants to meet up where and when?

What level of road are you planning? Should I bring my Tenere or my little bike? I'm never sure with guys on 950's.

How 'bout the Chevron (4th and McCarran) at 8, nothing worse than what you rode with me last time. It will probably be an all day trip with a lunch stop.

Dang, no paperwork for me in the mail yesterday, and I realized there will be no mail call or DMV today or tomorrow, so my hopes of riding as far as 89 still aren`t going to pan out. I`m getting frustrated and feeling like a major idjit for buying that bike- thought the title looked fine, but DMV said otherwise. When I talked to the person whose signature on a B.O.S. can straighten out my mess, he agreed, but it`s been almost two weeks now, and still haven`t seen the envelope I sent him come back. In the mean time, at least I`m able to sneak through my neighborhood and into the dirt for some enjoyable and much needed reacquaintence with dirt riding. Last weekend I farted around for a little while in the hills between Lemmon Vy and Sun Vy, then headed out towards Palomino Vy, finally scooted myself out to Doyle for a fuel top-off and a Coke before comming home. It was the first time I had ridden dirt since before I went in the army, many years ago, and I had forgotten what a blast it is.

Oh, and whoever said "Hopfully the Reno guys aren't checking out this thread. Don't want to know I don't know where I'm going." is busted!
