My options are 9/28-10/04 or 10/12-10/18. Hopefully one of those weeks will coincide with whenever the rest of you head up.
I'm thinking October 10th-13thish, let me know what the rest of you think.

Later would be better for me, but if I get home from work on time, I'm in.

Anyone want to do LAB2V this year. It has been on my to do list for years. I believe that now is the time to plan for this as far as getting a hotel.

Yes. Right now I have the event dates off. Will be registering after the 17th of this month. Last year I registered as well, but, got assigned a "Pick Up" job last November. Missed the ride......

I've got a car and trailer. If'n I make it can take some one down there as well. (won't be riding down there in late November! BRRRRRRRRRRR! hahahahaaha!)

Won't know my true schedule until around the first part of November.... Welcome to the life of a Hawaii Tug Boater.....

Soldier Meadows Oct 10th-13th

So who is going with us Oct 10th-13th? Right now for sure is myself, MFletch, and our friend Travis (shadyatbest in some places) leaving Thursday the 9th after work. A couple of other friends, Charlie and Jason are heading up after work on Friday. Its quite a drive to get there, 3 plus hours. My plans are for dinner at the ranch Saturday night, Sunday night I was thinking maybe a potluck and I'll Q up some ribs, Ill need a head count so I can get enough ribs.

For those that have never been out there its about 60 miles north of Gerlach. The fall colors should be good in the hills and the temps might be chilly. There is absolutely no services, you are on your own out there (although we did get Careflight up there once, hopefully never again). The riding is not difficult, mostly 2 track with some water crossings...maybe. After riding there is great hot springs to soak in, tell stories and drink some brews, if you're lucky, Travis will tell his Fauna story.

Damn. When it started looking like that weekend I aimed for my vacation in the following week to combine two purposes, but some emergency schedule rearranging at work forces me to move my vacation up two weeks. If I fart in the hot springs on my pass through, hopefully the evidence will all dissipate by the time you guys show up.

Count me in as long as I get home from work in time. I'll keep you posted by that Tue or Wed on my status. Probably head up Friday sometime.
