Thanks!

My setup would involve an mp3 player, an iphone, and a FRS radio. Will the FRS radio work through the amplirider? Would the amplirider be able to amplify the FRS radio? I know that I won't be able to just hit the button and be able to talk, I would have to mute the music first, but will it work like that?

I don't think Gary hangs out here a lot, but his products are fantastic! Sales are mostly word of mouth. You can contact him via his email which can be found on his web site http://www.electric-avenues.com/amplirider.html

Has anyone experience of comparing the AmpliRider with, for example, the Fiio E06? If yes, is the output significantly louder through the AmpliRider? Many thanks.

I have both. They are both seem to amplify equally...the AmpliRider can be hard wired into power, not easily so with the Fiio.

Hello Everyone!

I have made a new version of the amp and updated my first post in this thread.

RoyB, I am glad you have been enjoying the amps and I hope things have been going well.

VancouverBob: Many people use the amp to boost the signal of one or more devices before they pass through the Autocom system. While the AmpliRider will not connect to the Autocom's output, the AmpliRider can be used as a preamp between a quite device and one of the Autocom's inputs.

Mikesova, if you or anyone else is still interested in using a two-way radio to pass through the amp please contact me directly.

Also, if anyone has any questions in general I can be reached at Gary (at) Electric-Avenues.com
