Hey now Xymotic and seattlechronic, you guys live up here so you can go ride those mild trails anytime you want. Maps for the area are right here:

PM me if you want the GPX tracks. It's an easy day ride if you don't get lost like we did, but it was a good kinda lost.

Yes, but the exhaust can be a problem, and they need fuel, even when you don't ride them.

Nice report.

There is a pass-through hallway to the dress shop, and Washington is pretty Liberal. I bet they could marry you to that bitch right quick like... you'd have to wear the dress of course But you could ride off into the sunset happily ever after.

Yeah....I kind of noticed a lot of folks in Seattle tilted hard to the Left as they walked down the street. Saw many people in the same Tee-shirt over several days. It said, "OBAMA Is The Answer"

That got me wondering "How Stupid Was The Question?"

Anyway, Sweet Thang and I really enjoyed our time there. We got to see and do lots of interesting things. The Seattle Center, while somewhat of a tourist trap, was a very cool place to hang out. Especially when the "Bite of Seattle" was going on. Lots of eating and drinking for just one easy payment of $19.99

Got to watch a Life-Size Chess Match....while eating & drinking:

See a lady paint "Mona Lisa" on the sidewalk with CHALK....while eating & drinking:

Watch pretty girls by a cool building who were eating & drinking:

Stare at the Space Needle:

This was cool because it was built exactly the same year I was. And we are BOTH still standing.....despite all the eating and drinking carried on....in both.

Then, we decided to do something we thought might be special:

Drink some more....from the original Starbucks. But thank goodness the line was too long and the moment too anti-climatic. We moved on down the street. Until I discovered a "Chocolate covered Twinky" in a chocolate shop!!! Well, of course....what would you do?

The sun was setting on our trip, and we had to catch the slow boat back to Oklahoma. So sad to leave. Cyborg was such a terrific host. A great rider, and just all around blast to be with. I hope to return for more someday soon.

As we made our last pass through the Pugent Sound:

I was really thankful that we at least had something to eat & drink!

The End,

HF

Clif and HF,

Good write up, glad you had fun. I think you left a part out though - how about the U turn portion of the excursion?

Also, did you take any pics at Uncle Uli's on your way back?

Again, glad you guys had a good time,

T

Hey Tom, if by U-turn you mean the first part of unpublished trail we turned around on after 8 miles or so in, the first few HF ride shots show the "V" slot hillclimb there and a few stops.

No we didn't take any pix at Uncle Uli's (in Leavenworth), but the food was unique and good! HF enjoyed it. Wish we had taken a few shots, but we didn't bring the cameras. Thanks for recommending it, and the riding areas!

Clif,

Great job on the pics and write up! I recognize most of the scenes - cool to see them in pics as we usually don't bring a camera.

Again, glad you guys had fun there and it worked out ok.

'Berg Epilogue

The Husaberg story was not quite finished. We both really liked the FE390 back in 2010...

So I got one in 2011,

Then HF got one soon after!

Awesome bikes!
