Scooter Ride to the Rock Store and Neptune's Net

A bunch of us took a ride to the Rock Store and Neptune's Net on our California Scooters...it was pretty cool.

In the hills early in the morning on way to the Rock Store...

At the Rock Store...

The guys from Escuadron 201 in front of Neptune's Net...

Peter Fonda?

Racing with Ferraris on the PCH...

Hitting the brakes just in time...

Shannon wanted to sit on my bike...and I wasn't going to say no to him...

There are scooters, and then there are scooters. Thanks for giving me a new outlook on them, completely.

We're riding the Scooters down to Mulege (in Baja, about 700 miles south of the border) in mid-September. Our ride is open to anyone with a California Scooter.

I've never heard of a "California Scooter" before; had to look it up. Weird. What was your reason for buying it? Local commuting? Comfort?

Style, comfort, performance, quality, something different, etc. I work for the company, so my objectivity might be questioned, but I am telling you how I feel about the bikes. I thought they were a strange concept, too, until I actually saw one. The quality is exceptional. Stop by the factory when you're in the neighborhood and I'll get you a test ride. Like I always tell everybody, ride it without smiling and lunch is on me.
