my starter gear and freewheel gear look like Chia pets. The magnets came off of the rotor and destroyed the stator as well. Ground the magnets to fine black particles. Can anyone tell me if a Trail Tech stator can be adapted to the three hole mount on my 97 KTM RXCe Has a LC4e balanced 620 engine. Parts Unlimited does not offer anything before 98. I know you purists out there will tell me to buy stock but not only are 97 parts hard to find, I would like to step up to a better system for off road lights at a later point.
