Some of the travel pics are just awesome. Great job!

You had the tank and plastics all painted black? That's sharp as hell

Thanks! But yeah, I had them painted in my garage, with my hvlp spray gun, and my dupont centari enamel, and then they got buffed out with my polisher.

Really nice job, lotsa people try at home paint jobs, few succeed and have it turn out looking that good

Here's my commuter on one of the rare trips I get to make with it.
The bike is not so prominent in the photos, but this is what I've got...

The V really is a well balanced machine.
Aesthetically...I applaud Kawi. They nailed it.
I don't even own a V, but I find myself browsing
images just looking at them. Bone stock - even...I dig it.

NJD: Who's wind screen do you have and do you like it?
I need just a couple more inches of height than stock, just so the air stream goes over my helmet instead right at it. If I hunch down just a bit the buffeting quits at speeds over 60.

The Givi screen is on my shortlist.

NJD has the optional Kawasaki Varo it looks like to me, I have one I'll sell if you think that's what you need. Winter I use a Cal Scientific, summer I use the stock one.

Loving the green!
I'd trade my GSXR1000 for one in a heartbeat- to save my licence!
the 2010 with rubber motor mounts would probably ride even nicer.
