R80G/S Slipstream Deflector
Anyone out there use one of these on their G/S? Just wondering if it's worth the bucks for cutting down on windblast on long road trips? Thanks.

How tall are you?
I am 6.0" and have one on my R100GS and R80G/S and it helps to keep the wind from hitting my chest directly which helps me from getting too tired on long trips. Asthetically I think it makes the bike look better too. (my opinion) Good luck

Slipstream deflector
I mounted one on my 86 g/s. It helped quiet alot in keeping wind of the chest etc. If you buy it new from BMW it needs to be painted, they do include a template to drill the headlight surround. I never liked the looks of the g/s headlight assembly so the slipstream deflector was an improvement in my opinion.
