Damn Jason! You really burnt that thing up. That has to be a record. Those iron butt guys got nothing on you. That has to be a lot harder than riding 1000 miles in a day on pavement. Thanks for sharing it with us. What did you think about Black Mesa? That is where we camped the first night and started the TAT from there. I thought it was a pretty cool place.

DustyButt 1000 a few years ago, he was at SLAP.

Honestly, Jerry, I can't comment much on Black Mesa. Most of what I saw was at night (i.e. blinking lights in the distance). I made tracks in the morning in search of a hearty breakfast. Wish I could have appreciated the sights a bit more, but the trip was hardly about sightseeing.

Got a link to a report, if any? I think the OK TAT is certainly a great starting point. Just add 150 to each end or make it a loop somehow.

I can't find the ride report right now, but Dirtfarmer dug up the stats. I keep trying to get Lee on a Devro ride.

Your's is quite an accomplishment though, I know how fast you have to ride to average 40mph+.

Thx for the link. I really have no idea how many miles are dirt vs pavement on the OK TAT. I guess you could get some approximation from aerial photos.

DD that sounds like an awesome ride. Even with the Guts seat on the XRR, there's no way I could go sixteen hours. You da man!

When I make that ride it will be measured in days, not hours.
