Install Conversion Kit ZUMO 660 Power Cable with Quick Disconnect on a Navigator IV
sorry for the long title!
i recently bought the BMW Motorrad Navigator version of the Zumo 660 because i like the extra physical buttons on the cradle. sadly, the folks at garmin dont seem to understand that many of us have more than one bike and the cradles are meant to be permanently mounted to the bike.
during my research i found the "Conversion Kit ZUMO 660 Power Cable with Quick Disconnect" from touratech. this is meant to be spliced into the 660 cradle wiring harness to allow for easy removal. they told me that i should be able to splice it into the Navigator IV version as well but the wires might be different colors.
so my question is: has anyone done this? what color were the positive and negative wires?
any other helpful insight would be welcome.

If all you want to do is disconnect power, why not just get an SAE connector or two from the auto parts store for a couple bucks?
