Wicked Laurel Fork & Dolly Sod

Does anyone want to make either or both of these a day trip before the snow hits?

Talking Cold Water

Keith,

Over by Cannan Valley. We could get that psycho Xsquiggy to lead the way and then we would know if the stream crossings where to deep.

I'm down with Dolly Sod on Saturday.

Anyone want to ride my killer route Friday?

I'll have to commit later on that one. I may ride dirt local and hang out with neice/nephew and wife. Or, I'll ride with you. WHOOT !

Is there something special about a wilderness area and riding on certain days?

I prefer my DR because of the Peters Mill section. Half the route is gravel. To hear Scorch and Barry speak of PM, it is a walk in the park. I just rode PM on my DR last week and it has some pretty technical sections...at least the trails I took on PM.

I keep telling Keith that it's "easy" compared to the BS rocks on the other side of the road.

And you are a damn maniac if you take the weestrom through their. Mad props.

OK, is it worse than Taskers Gap? I wouldn't want to ride a 75-25 route on the DR, plus 60 miles of pavement to get to the ride, I'd rather take my chances on the pig.
