I didn't think the main sections of Taskers are particularly difficult. Some of the most difficult sections of Taskers are equivalent to Peters Mill IMO. If you would like to trailer up to my place, that would be fine...or you could skip the Peters Mill section and meet us at the Woodstock Tower marker for the last third of the route.

The route is 45% backroads, 45% gravel/two track, and 10% hardcore rock garden (PM).

My plan is kickstands up at 10am Friday to allow for folks to get to my place and the ride is about 6 hours.

Saturday someone needs to step up and decide on a meeting place and time.

Keith,

I'm getting my poop into one big pile, and plan to be at your place before 10am. I'm a wee bit under the weather, but nothing 4-6 Extra Strength Tylenol won't put a dent in. Bleh.

See you Friday AM.

Barry

I'm a bit under the weather too but hopefully nothing that some turkey, wine and Advil can't combat. Count me in for a Saturday and/or Sunday ride.

Steverino and Poonie I'd like to ride up with y'all if that works out.

OK - I'm out for Friday. Hope I feel better so I can join in on the Dolly Sods ride Saturday or Sunday (I'm confussed on schedule too). I feel like crap, throat is sore, chest is tight. I only took 3 Tylenol. I usually bulk up on Ibuprofen only.

I really need to bug Keith to do the Killer off-road ride again. I'm dying to see GSs go down Peters Mill.

I hope to get the KTM out with you guys over the weekend for it's maiden voyage.

OUT...

Barry

Poonie,

I was hoping you could tell me. Now I am really confused but that's nothing new. Since you are the exalted Potentate of Albemarle and ride leader extraordinaire I was waiting on a PM or a post from you on your plans and then maybe I could figure out when, where and with whom I can ride...

Thumb

If it is only going to be a few people we could do a goat path from BRPW down to Sherando Grocery and then Saint Marys Wilderness (Big levels) down to Rockbridge County for some vitals in Lexington. Nothing to awe inspiring but at least you can put it down on your resume and get in some dirt time!

Barry,

I am north of Staunton right off I-81. I was thinking about meeting on Afton Mt. at the gas station right of I-64 Saturday morning. Is that KTM up for some road miles?
