I have a pair of M62s and cant get them to sit tightly. The mounting bracelet that slides into a slot on the light housing isn't a perfect fit. The bolt is tightened properly, so the light isn't going anywhere but I was wondering if there is a chance of something braking due to rattling.
Anyone?

Heavy Duty Brackets

Oh no! I installed my 44's a month ago. I had ordered the heavy duty bracket and did not know they were backordered I guess. I just received the heavy duty brackets a few days ago. Someone please tell me there is an easier way to change them out besides running the old bracket the entire length of the cable to remove and vise versa to install the new. On a 2009 KLR650 it will not be easy. Say it isn't so!

You could cut the cable and put in a connector. Or you could use the standard brackets, I am still using the set on my original prototypes after 25k miles and few of these.

Guess I should give instructions when I loan the Dirt Ninja

Lights ok

Mounting option for BMW LT

I have a K1200 LT and am looking at mounting options. Does anyone remember seeing anyone that has mounted these lights to a LT? I went through about 90% of this thread and didn't see anything.

Also, I will be adding them to an Eastern Beaver fuse block. What switch to you recommend? Thinking about going with the 44's or 60's.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here's comparo of our lights (a single of each model) on a tree some 250' away.

The model 64 will carry much further than the tree. At least a couple of hundred yards.

No LTs in the picture collection.

The wireless dimmer is nice, gives you a dimmed setting for daytime visibility with full power when you turn on the high beams.

Once the dimmed setting is determined you don't need to adjust it unless you want to change the setting.
