We left Gonzaga at about 3, meaning that from San Felipe north, we were riding in the dark, in Mexico, on a road with construction detours that were two-way through nasty dirt. Imagine being on a narrow dirt road with loaded semis heading the other direction in pitch darkness!!

I have the 60's with the dimmer that is wired so the LED's go to full bright when I turn on my high beam.

The first time I hit the brights, my riding buddy almost shit himself he was so surprised how much light they put out. They literally turned night to day. (My HID low and high beam didn't hurt ). I was able to see road hazards plenty far enough away to avoid them while going 60 mph through pitch darkness.

Once my buddy gets over the wallet pain of fixing all the parts he broke on his bike when he went down, he's going to be getting a set of your lights too. Thanks again for an awesome product!!
Thanks for the feedback

I can imagine the trepidation at having to do that trip at night!

whats the throw difference between the 30's and the 50's? I see the 50's have a higher lumen rating but also a wider beam. at say 300' which one would be brighter? and would these survive the vibration on the crash guard on my parallel twin f800GS?

thanks and I hope to place an order this week!

I wouldn't mind mounting these on my jeep rack and getting rid of my huge KCs

Has anyone ever mounted their lights on Happy Trail PD Nerfs for the 2008+ KLR650n that is shown in this picture? Have you used the ADVmonster Crash Bar Light Mount? I would really like to see the install pictures close up. Sanjoh says they will work but then in the description is says it will work with bars 30mm, 27mm, 25mm and 23mm. I don't think those bars are that big.

We have a mounting bracket that will work on the HT bars.

Send me an email sandjoh@gmail.com with the year and model of your bike and I wll send some examples of mounting.

These are what I am talking about.

I see the M15 spots sold as pairs at a very affordable price. Anyone using these? How does the light output compare with the M30, M50, M60 that you all seem to be discussing?

Looking at setting up a light bar across the nose of my sidecar....

Dimmer switch

Whilst I'm sure the quality of the lights is good, my 60s installation on my GSA resulted in melting the on/off/dimmer controller. I had to cut it out on the road and tape up the wiring. I had the dimmer Velcro attached to the front fairing. If you guys know of a better quality unit I'd appreciate the feedback. The lights survived 2000 miles in Brazil and Uruguay including some gravel roads. The wiring logic seems good etc but the switch feels very light, not sure if that implies poor quality.
