Take a close look at the fit between the mount block and the light body. Both are slightly tapered, the tapers should engage firmly, before the flat end of the mounting block bottoms out on the light body.

If this is the issue, file off some of the mounting block where it meets the light housing until the tapers fit firmly.

Okay thank you. Yeah the front of the mount hits the light body. I will grind down the front. That sounds like it will do the trick. Thank you.

No relay is needed, less than 2 amps for the pair.

The lights are very bright, with a focused beam. I've used them for some 3500 miles, with a dimmer. A great addition to the Vstrom.

And an awesome deal at less than $70 for the pair after the inmate discount.

The rotary dimmer is waterproof.

Since my friend generously sold me a set of Kristas for my GS, I gave him my ADV Monster lights for his WR250. They mount great on the reflector brackets, and triple the light output of the stock headlight.

I still love these lights!
