i mounted them a few days ago, even on the lowest setting my low beam is about useless lol I cruised around at night in a semi lit area and had no complaints from other drivers. You gotta becarefull when you turn them on full power tho airplanes might think your a landing strip.

just low beam

low beam and full power

i should have angled the lights up for the pics, the bike was pointing down too much into the ditch there, I didnt really notice it in person because how much light was down the path . That house is probably 1800 feet away ( guessing ), im gunna take a range finder and get a accurate number one day this week. The pictures don't do the lights any justice at ALL . The normal mounts that come with them seem to be holding up fine, ive jumped a few things and rode down some stairs they stay put well.

Will you have any of the clear light protectors for the Model 30s with you on Saturday at Frostproof? I was hoping I could pick a couple up.

JeffKurtz, fellow ADVer, may be riding down and coming with me on Saturday.

Cheers,

Mike

Didn't know about that. Going to have my CB350 with my son on the back so unless it is pretty tame I probably won't. Jeff may want to, though, on his GS Sertao.

JeffKurtz, by the way is Kurtzinpa on ADV. Had forgotten his screen name earlier on. Oh yeah, and he already knows the power of the Model 30s! When I pulled into his campsite at Vogel State Park last year, he was shielding his eyes!

I'm more interested in hearing and seeing about the S25. Might be the thing for my 1150GSA
