This is pertaining to my V Star.I want to mount fogs down low on my engine guard and mount my spots up where most cruisers have there's above the signal lights.Would this be optimal placement?

Yes it would be the best placement with fogs and spots wired independently.

Fogs low to reduce glare during fog(spots off).

Spots high for max distance when conditions warrant (fogs on for fill or width, if needed).

They would all be wired independently with their own switches. The V Star 650 doesn't have much reserve and I am going all LED next spring to free up a few watts for my GPS.

Ordered a set of Model 30 LED's for my girlfriend's F700GS. That bike definitely needs more light up front.

Just got my advmonster flashlights in and I have a question. The red charging LED flashed on the charger when I started charging the batteries, and 5 hours later it is still flashing. I was assuming it would go off or go solid when fully charged; is this not the case? It definitely charged the batteries, flashlights work like a champ.

Sounds good. You will likely free up a bunch more watts than your GPS will use.

The charger LED will eventually turn green. The charge cycle is such that the last few % of capacity takes the longest time. You can leave the batteries in the charger when it is in the wall, it will shut off the charge to battery when full.

Tenere lights mounted

Lights work great mounted here. The mounts from Sanjoh required a bit of belt sander adjustment to fit proper and the inserts supplied had a burr that needed filing off. The light bar just fits in this location. The amount of light is obscene, don't stare directly at it!

Thanks for the pics

Any idea if it would bolt up under the fairing?

Had several advr's ask if the F40 combo spot and flood leds were independently controllable.

We now have the F20, available in spot or flood.

  • Cree XM-L2 LEDs
  • 2000 Lumens
  • Beam Patterns available: 10 degree spot or 30 degree flood
  • Aluminum construction with stainless hardware.
  • AR-1 coated Polycarbonate lens
  • IP68 rated - Dust and waterproof
  • Input voltage 9-32VDC
  • 5500k color temperature
  • 1 meter sheathed wire lead, ready for connectors

It will indeed fit if the crash bar is not mounted on your S10.
