Dimmer

Hey Sanjoh,

I have been running my 30/44 with dimmer for a little while. Just got around to hooking up the purple high beam wire using a Posi-Tap. The dimmer works to manually control the lights dim to bright, but can't get to them to full bright from a dimmer setting through the factory high/low switch. Other than the obvious of checking connections, have any other ideas?

Just a heads up for those who think the copies sold on ebay are the same as advmonster.

I have both a pair of the copies and the real advmonsters on my Versys. They are not the same. The advmonster are noticeably more powerfull and the quality of the bracket is superior..

OK thanks! Rest of the bike is fairly normal haha. She's been around though, just shy of 97,000.

My powder-coater lost a part of the mounting bracket... Is there anyway to just order the part I need? Or better yet anyone got an old pair laying around?

feedback on the f11 and M50s.

The foglights are great and brighter than my normal driving lights, about the same distance, crazy!

the M50s are filling the bill like they are supposed to. Now running them on each bike with one M60.

Btw discovered that the problem with my M60s (ie. not as bright as used to) was because of using the autoswitch for my GS. Seems like they need the extra poweroutput from the battery.

only problem I had with my package is that one of the M50s wiring was upside down. The usually positive wire was exchanged with the negative one.

How did this happen? Haven't even gone off-road with them. Wonder if it is covered by the warranty?

Paved roads have rocks too. I have always wondered about mounting lamps so low to the ground.

Ouch, not sue of the time frame but they may be able to treat as a warranty item as a courtesy. Worth a try.

Happened to me with them mounted on my truck after one week. I ordered another lens and two protective covers. My fault for not getting the added protection from the start.

Lens damage is not covered by warranty. We do offer lens protection however.

Didn't think so, but I just thought I would check.
