White Castle Run 8/28/10 N.GA to Nashville

I am heading out to the nearest White Castle on Saturday 8/28/10. It is in Lebanon, TN, which is about a 5 hour ride for me, and just over 225 miles. I am posting the route that I plan to use, but I know there are a ton of better roads between me and the awesome goodness that is a White Castle Burger.

This is where I need some help. I would like suggestions on which roads I should take along the way. I have never really ridden in Tennessee, so I could use some help here.

I also want to invite anyone along for the ride that has the same craving that I do for some belly bombers. I plan to eat as many as I can on-site, and bring a bunch home for later.

I will provide the imodium for the ride home.

Meeting In Chatsworth would work well for me, but not necessary.

We discussed, and CAREFULLY, planed this trip while sitting very near the KEG, at the Sweaty Beaver.

Need I say, more?

Quoted by Mike Honcho. "If you have never taken a trip across hwy 30 in central Tennessee you are missing some of the best curves in the south with limited (if any) traffic."

OK so this is what I've got so far. It added 1.5 hours to the route.

You want to take Hwy 52 aka 2 across Fort Mountain from Ellijay to Chatsworth. 282 is covered with tar snakes and the road across Fort Mtn. is one of the best in the state.

BTW. I'm in provided I'm back on the road by that date.

Hwy 30 from Dayton to McMinville is fantastic.

Chatsworth to Cleveland sucks via 411, but there's not a lot better. Maybe Hang a left at Eton, then North on 225 to Cleveland.

Thanks for the input, Mitch. I updated the route. I hope your bike is fixed by then! You don't wanna miss out on the "Slider Run 2010"!!
