I'm a year behind you.

My son Corbett just passed his MSF and he'll be riding a DR 200.

Next summer we're taking a trip to the MOA National in Bloomsburg.

That will be a great ride.....you can take long way and hit the Catskills on the way. Some beautiful roads between here and there.

Great experience...you will love riding with your son.

Cheers

We're going to get started this fall. I tried to set it up so your goofy friend Greg could be his C1 but we missed. No worries as all the RC's in Seekonk are top notch but I was kinda hoping to get him a little extra....

Hazing.

Nice Ride!

Can't wait for my son to be old enough to ride on the road with me.
Enjoy every minute of those rides with yours.
Thanks for sharing a great ride.

BTW..what were those "pigs ear" looking thing you had for lunch?
Sweet potato fries maybe?

Great ride report. I like the yellow on that bike. You can see it and a new rider needs every advantage these days. Looks like a pretty good paint job also. Have fun with your mom Colton.

Very close. Sweet Potato Chips. Similar but a little crisper with honey to dip in. Missing the melted butter that comes with the fries tho.

How old is your son?

Thanks!

What a heart warming story. I'm glad you got to take this trip with you son. You've created memories that will last a lifetime.

My son and I took a very long one 5 years ago. He still talks about it. As do I.

Kyle is 13 and has ridden off road for a couple of years (not right now though... had to sell the bikes). He can't wait for his KLR or a F650 GS. Daddy-o is gonna get a big GS. As a surprise, to feed his moto jones, we are gonna roll up to see the Barber musuem over Thanksgiving. I can't wait for that myself.

wow, what a great report

I loved this report. How cool that Colton's mom has a kick ass Duc! This is the luckiest kid in the world to have you as a mom. What a great report and what a great ride. I can't believe he did such a long first ride, those teenagers have tuff buns for sure.

My little guy is only 2, but is into bikes

I can't wait to take him on a ride like this. I hope he takes good care of you this mothers day! Thanks for sharing.

I was just re-reading this... since winter is coming... and I thought "I wonder why Kevin hasn't commented on this picture..."

I mean, if it was me & the Merc you KNOW I would be dragging him down that road
