Visit to Brussels

Hey all Belgians reading this...

Guess this is not the right thread to post this, but I give it a shot... I am currently on my way around the world on my 1937 Nimbus, see my website www.kccd.no. Tomorrow I´ll deliver the bike for shipping to Africa, and in the meanwhile I´m off to Europe to visit home in Norway a couple of weeks.

This coming weekend I´m doing a presentation for FEMA in Brussels, and need a place to stay but the hotels are friggin expensive (when you´re used to travel in developement countries at least).

Anybody in Brussels or anybody know somebody there that can take in a worn fellow ADV rider from Friday 1th to Sunday third? If so, please mail me at tormod.amlien (at) gmail.com or PM me here. Also interested if any of you know a cheap hostal or hotel around!

Hope to hear from somebody!

Best regards,

Tormod Amlien

Hi all...
I'm originally from Belgium (Haacht) but living in Brazil since Jan. 2009...
I've been working almost 2 years to set up a new motorcycle tour company, so if any of you guys ever want to check out the Brazilian outback, you know where to find me. Adventure guaranteed!
Ride safe and hopefully see you in Brazil some day.

Grtz

Hey Croesus, I don't live in belgium anymore, but my son does... I'll give him a call to see if you could stay at his place. He lives in Keerbergen (+/- 30km from Brussels)

BTW... Checked out your site and this trip you're making looks pretty awesome... I see you passed through Brazil. Hope you had a good time here.

Cheers...
Raf

Belgian living abroad here. Been in the United States over 20yrs now, and currently living down in Key West, FL, however I often think about and miss my homeland, and would love to some put together a motorcycle trip through Europe (around the world if only I had the funds!).

Hey,

Another belgian right here, I live right next to the dutch border in the upper north corner of the busy little province of Antwerp. I've been riding lots of roads, but tend to explore the offroad side of things this last year with my BMW G450X.
