Asheville to Boone on the Blue Ridge Parkway

I loaded up the Pack Mule yesterday and headed up the Parkway to Boone, North Carolina. It looks a little dirty because it rained a bit late in the day...

I took my time today on the way home and stopped at Grandfather Mountain, Mt. Mitchell, Little Switzerland, etc.

It was beautiful so I shot a few photos and posted them on my blog - Blue Ridge Travel Guide.

Beautiful. They got the proportions right with the Sportster. I've owned a new one and loved it. It's a near certainly that I'll own another yet.

Hi OldCoot. I live in Hendersonville too. Thanks for sharing the pics. My wife Karen and I love riding the BRP. We rode the whole thing in June and then continued on the Skyline Drive before hanging a left into West Virginia. Your website is very nice. Stop by Valley Hill Fire Department and say hi. See ya on the road.
