It's on my list. Work slows down during the wet season up here and I have often thought I should scout out the TAT and try to take dirt down to Syd. I know I could coax some of you lot into showing a free Australian around convict Australia.

Note to self. When fueling up at Windorah do NOT say "I'll see you later", "I had better get a hop along" or "See you around". You will just look like a prick in front of the locals and feel like a dick.

Not a bad little ride actually, you just have to choose the weather that is suitable for your vehicle of choice..

Cheers

Generally speaking yes, the only problem being after heavy rain. Jan tend to be a bit wetter then say September / October but it also tends to dry out faster to. You can always turn back

Cheers

Happy to tour guide - if it's in Jan plan on being here for Aussie Day for another iconic ride - the Merricumbene into Bendethera

Yep

Bridal Track is ok...nothing overly special. The Merricumbene on the other hand - oh yeah

Tag, you can do the Bridal on the way back from Bendethera

Fueled at Hillend general store on last saturday morning 11/09/2010 and was informed by the guy at the shop that the first causeway from the Hillend end had over a metre of water over it Turned out the rock slide was the least of my dramas

The orange does grow on you. You will not notice it at first..but it starts with a few innocent KTM stickers,.progresses to a KTM key ring, to KTM coffee mug and next thing you know, you have gone completely mad and start wearing orange tee shirts. It is a very bad infection..is this yeast infection (Bronx)
