Isn't it about time for a HOODOO ride? Has the snow disappeared yet?

Its a ride where noobs like you, buy old farts like me, breakfast and listen to all my old riding stories and bow in worship at my greatness.
Hoodoo is a pass up near Blanchard Idaho where Buttercup learned all about riding on ice. By now, it is probably clear of snow in all the open areas but still has snow deep in the turns. Anybody wanna check it out tomorrow? Where we meeting for breakfast noob?

In spite of today’s bone chilling wind, my buddy Bob and I had a great day playing around on Canfield Mountain with our KLRs. We went in via Nettleton Gulch Road and eventually came out on the Fernan Lake Road.
![]() From this spot we could look north and see Hayden Lake or look south and see Coeur d'Alene Lake. We took a right on this gated road (motorcycles are not restricted) but we ended up coming back the same way. After looking at maps and Google Earth I think we could have made it out that way but I thought I was running low on fuel and decided to play it safe. I ended up making all the way back to Spokane Valley before hitting reserve at 301 miles. (No I didn’t fill up today) Once we hit the Fernan Lake road we decided to head up and see where the snow would stop us. The end of the pavement was as far as we could go. On the way down at Fernan Lake. One day next week we will be back up there with our WR450s |

Today's Project
Today I installed a front mounted receiver hitch on the ol' one-ton.
I will probably remove the mirrors, luggage and maybe side covers from the WR when hauling. Who wants to go camping?
