Gonna cancel on the dirt ride this weekend Paul, NoRa has other plans at the park for me. She did promise to let me camp next weekend on the dr somewhere though. I'll still be at breakfast Sat. Morning, but on the HD, the LOUD HD I mean.

Perfect...I was going to cancel on you...

A buddy of mine with a baby due in 3 weeks has a hall pass on Saturday so we're going whitewater rafting. He's a former river guide so not getting to use his raft is killing him.

Last year, Bon Bon and I moved our oldest daughter to Pullman so she can attend grad school. Since then, I have been following along this forum, post very rarely, but enjoying most of what has been posted.

Someone posted last year that they run a pear orchard and after their quota is filled, they allowed adv peeps to come out and pick. I mentioned something about that to Elizabeth and she shrieked with excitement. So now I have been tasked with finding out who that is and how she can get a hold of them to, hopefully, pick some pears. Theoretically, Beth is going to try her hand at canning.

Does anyone else remember who that is??? I will follow this thread closer or PM me.

Mucho thanks.

You know, I remember that but can't remember who it was. There are a number or people who could have made that offer. I'll have to think on it and maybe ask a few people and see what I can find out for you.

It came back to me - It was Craig McCurdy offering up the pears and XB12R with apples. Here's the thread: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=631811 It would be fun to do a fall ride, hit XB12Rs place then pop on down to see McCurdy.

That's a ways off though.

I think that Nanc and I would be interested in a trip like that, so long as the roads were paved. It would be a fun trip with the hack.

Breakfst at 0900??? Wow...how civilized! I'm liking the pace of this already. I'm in. Tequila is one of the substances I abused in my youth, might skip that part. I'm 3-4 weeks from leaving for my CDR adventure so there is some equipment I went to sort out. See you there....dave

I don't know....the thought of an over night campin' trip on the KLR is appealing to me...Haven't done enough of it in the last year or two.

I'm going to do the enduroX at the fairgrounds in CdA on Aug 4-5th, so I'm thinking that camping would be just what the doctor ordered.

A friend of mine from Rockford will be racing at that one. We will be there.
