I'm glad you joined us Paul, it was a real hoot for sure.
I was a little sore yesterday even though I never wrecked all weekend.

Paul, after quite some time of lurking on this forum, it was great to put a face with a name. Is it time to do it again?

It's got the ims 3.2 gallon tank on it so a little bigger than stock plus this little 250 seems to get good mileage.
The guy I bought it from was Bob, I guess his screen name is dirtwurm

I put on the Acerbis 3.7 gallon tank. Gets you in the 200 miles range. I got a good buy on a used one. You ditch the stock shrouds with this tank. The tank offers good protection in a tip over, err that's what I heard anyways .

Got it out for about a 25 mile dirt ride last night, some of my old dirtbike grounds I use to ride 20+ years ago.

Hopefully get out a little further this weekend, maybe go play in the kalispell/tacoma area

Well Kalispell is in MT, and Tacoma is in WA so you must be covering some good ground this weekend.

I am thinking about heading up to the Liberty Lake ORV part tomorrow after work, can be there by 5:30 if you want to join me.

(yes, I know the Kalispell/Tacoma area you're talking about)

Shinko 705's for sale in Spokane

Hi folks,

I have a set of Shinko 705 dual sport tires for sale. I put them on my Kawasaki Super Sherpa last year for one road trip. They have 1,600 miles on them and are in excellent condition. Size 90/90-21 and 4.10-18. These are about $48 each new from MC Superstore. Yours for $60 cash (local pick up). Send me PM or text/call me at 828-7937, 7:30AM-9PM. I live in the Argonne and Bigelow Gulch area.

Thanks.
Dave

north side rides?

I was told to post this question here as most of the folks from Spokane hit this thread a lot. I just finished rebuilding my 1982 XL250R and got my plate for it today. I'm looking for some dirt rides that don't take 30 minutes to get to from say, Wandermere. It's been a long time since I've done any dirt riding, but I'd like to get some in before winter comes. So dirt roads, single track trails, that type of thing that won't get a relative noobie into too much trouble.

Thanks in advance!

That would be riding up near Mt Spokane - Blanchard creek road area. It's been a few years since I've ridden that area but that's where I would head for a quck day ride. That or over to the Rivetside ORV park. I'm going to head over there next weekend to practice some new skills I learned at a Jimmy Lewis bike bike offload session.

Nanc and I went out for coffee with some of the Beemer guys this morning. We are usually the only hack there, and an airhead one at that. Then Jim shows up in another airhead hack. A little later Lance shows up with son Logan on a K1100LT. Wow! It's an invasion!
