Where were you at on that ride...I would like to try it next spring! You say rez but that covers a lot of ground here in Spokane.

Woke up in St. George, UT. Will be driving over to Flagstaff today. Hike into the Grand Canyon for four days starting tomorrow. Sorry, no bikes.

Now I've had my share of wild nights in my day but never woke up so far away from home...impressive!

So, on his dirt bike tour down from BC, MediumDriver was planning on swinging out to northern ID to do some single track with me this weekend before heading down to UT. Due to the turn in the weather, he decided to head straight to UT before the snow flies down there. I had about 80 miles of fast & tight 2 track / slow & technical single track planned that I still want to go on but am hesitant to go alone. I'd be starting in Pinehurst, heading over Haystack Mt., down into Bronson Meadows on a 25/30 mile ST loop, up to Cemetery Ridge, down to Big Creek, and back up the back side of Silver Mt. Anyone interested? First one or two (3 at the most) to respond are welcome. There might be snow, but the single track is all under 5000' so it shouldn't be too dangerously snowy. If it is, we will find alternate routes to make it a day. I will be leaving Post Falls around 6 am and hope to be hitting the trail in Pinehurst at 7.

Here is a pic of some of the single track from the last time I was there, so you know what you are in for:

Hey, I know where that is, I was just there in August. I saw this sign with the cemetery sign on the other side of the road and I had to check it out to see just how happy it was.

Happy Hill Rd and Pleasant View, it all sounds so nice.

This is the first thing I noticed:

This is the first time I found outhouses at a cemetery. I guess if you gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now the outhouses would be a pleasant view.

I can relate to this lady and it seems she likes flowers.

And behind the headstone was a nice saying

There are some fun roads out in that area to explore.

Rig a sail on the bike this weekend and you won't even have to start the engine! Don't get blown off a cliff out there man.
