Hey thanks man. It was fun making the vid (and doing the riding of course.) Seattle was home for me from 85-01. AIC and all the other Seattle bands were a big part of my twenty-somethings. Jerry is a personal fave. Good call on the Diamond Lie reference. Not many remember that, I'd wager. Obviously, you have exposed where I took inspiration from for my screen name on here!

So Kootenai Rider, you teased us with the pics of the track, how was the race?

Welll...I'm not the only one who breaks the speed limits on Riverview on/in a BMW. Some of us just do it on four wheels instead of two!

Really good. Better like mud. The had an awesome turnout. Go find the Urban Assault thread I started here in pnw. There are some race pics there.

The jersey barriers weren't as bad as I thought they would be to hop up on.

Judging by your pics, the tires looked more intimidating than the barriers. Is there any traction on muddy rubber against muddy rubber?

I was just at Allsport discussing the availability of a new YZ250.

Those tires are fine so long as you hop them. Just don't get you front tire in one of the holes or you are hosed. I like crossing those.

In other news one of my sled head friends went sledding today and said it was 50 degrees at 6000 feet. Said the snow was really melting fast. Wahoo that hopefully means we'll be riding up there sooner than June.

Here was my ride today. About 120 miles with my girl on the back. Was a bit of fun except when I got stuck behind some cagers most of the north west part of the route. Shame, because that's the best part.

I did a loop around Lake CdA yesterday. Roads are dry and no sand, fun, fun fun but then the Benewah Sheriffs and I had a nice visit just outside the park between Plummer and St Maries. The speed limit drops from 55 to 45 kinda suddenly as you drop down into the park. Got off with a warning as they said they had clocked me earlier under the 55 limit but later over the 45 limit .
