Tim. how was the SX? I was bummed I couldn't go, I'll be headed to Seattle this weekend, and the SX will be in Salt Lake, much closer to home, bummer.

It was good. Weather was decent (rain), beer was expensive ($8.50 for the cheap ones). So yeah, it was what I expected. Liking the new bike.

I went for a ride up around 4th of July Pass yesterday evening scoping out a potential firewood run. It was a little smokey from the FS's prescribed burns, and I think I rode on more snow than dirt, but it was a great day for a ride.

And of course, I can't stay out of trouble...

Cool video, and the bike sounds good.

Thanks! Like always, the steepness of hills never relays well onto video. I knew I wasn't going to make it; not even sure if it even went anywhere, but once you commit you can't stop!

Looks like my kind of riding! I think we're headed down to St. Maries on Sunday to Xmas hills. Gonna help cut trail and mark the Muddy Butt course with one of the St. Joe Cycle Club dudes.

If anyone's up for a ride either tomorrow or Sunday (or both ) let me know. I'll probably ride both days, but since I'm new here I still don't really know where the best riding is.

I'm on a 950 Adv, so a mix of dirt/street is good, but really I'm not too picky. If I'm on two wheels, it's good!

Hey MM, you should head south out of Spokane towards Worley, Id. Our shop is 7 miles from there on Conkling park road. Stop in and say hi, then head toward St Maries, Harrison and CDA. PM me for address if you decide to head down. Your bike will be in good company.

Hey Tim,
I see you started putting air in your tires this year.

Still doing any RC stuff?

Yeah, I aired up early this year. And I still have a few rc things, got a couple out here, and the rest at home. 7 planes, 7 helis, and 8 cars/ trucks. Thinking about selling the planes though.

You have any noob friendly planes? I have been thinking about pickup one up. Electric would be my choice. I have a PC simulator but have never flown a real one.

Oh hell, I was just gonna ask the same thing! hehe.

I just started flying this year with a Hobbyzone Champ and it works great when it's calm but the slightest breeze makes it not very noob friendly.

Been running cars for years though, currently going through a Traxxas phase, not sure what is up with that.

Any Spokane area gas stations sell non ethanol gas?

After redoing the carb on my CRF this spring I want to find some of the good stuff.

The non-ethanol premium at Chester Store recently dropped to 91 octane but I will still run it in all of my bikes since it's just down the street from me.
