Adding to the new spokane riders posse. Never lived in a place with as many bikes per capita. Walking around the south hill I've seen a bunch of guys with their garages open and a bike or two. Be glad it's me with a dog and a baby and not some meth head.

The only problem we had was trying to keep her awake on the ride home! I had to keep reaching back and tickling her ribs to wake her up.

Maybe even cooler than daughter getting her first ride is wife getting out on her bike, eh? Good to see.

Yeah, that kinda backfired on us. She REEEEAAALLY wants a dirt bike (and has wanted on since she could talk), and we told her she can't get one until she can ride a bicycle without training wheels. Well, that was all the motivation she needed. She had the balance bike down at 2, and I found myself taking the training wheels off the pedal bike shortly after she turned 3. Now she is 4 (Can you believe it? 48" tall!!), and she is wondering where her dirt bike is. Hard to explain to a kid that her skills grew faster than our budget!

She rides to work sometimes, but the pleasure rides are hard to find time for. The really cool part: the whole thing was her idea! What a gal!

Great pics KR! I've tried to load the video of your sweet high-side recovery onto Youtube, but our internet connection is pathetic.

LOL...Does a husband ever appreciate his wife anymore than when he gets to hear her utter the words "honey, let's go for a ride"?

Can't help you with the other life circumstances you find yourself with. My kids are grown. I do remember that baby's do nothing for increasing a guys riding time though. LOL

How'd you do yours? Mine was in a basketball game. I HEARD the ligaments tear away from my ankle. Now I hear that another power forward is running rampant against the short guys in my pick up games. I'm probably 60% for b-ball, but closer to 90% for riding (hey josh hill is making it top ten with a bad ankle fueled by energy drinks and pure doucheness.) Hoopfest isn't looking all that good this year unless I make big steps in the next couple of weeks.

I seem to hurt myself much more doing everything other than riding no matter how hard I try while riding. Give up those silly games that only take one ball and go ride

Btw, cracked my ankle and went on a weeklong dual sport ride 6 days later. Mx boots offer plenty of protection.

Riding my DRZ up a badly rutted trail (most of them are) at Liberty Lake ORV Park. Contrary to KR's experience I seem to primarily hurt myself riding lately. MX boots don't do you any good if you have to leave them at home because you can't get your beat up feet/ankles in them.
