Hope the weather will do something good that day. I've got a 250 mile loop planned and my gear doesn't have the greatest water repellant capabilities

Newport MX has their 1st open practice on Sunday, anyone plan on heading up? I'll be up at diamond all weekend so I might bring the klx and the kx up for a full weekend of riding. Newport doesn't have alot of practice days so I wanna get in on that, it's a great outdoor national style track with some cool elevation changes.

My buddy Dylan and I were considering doing this, but we've settled on heading up and doing the Bayview to Telache Sunday trail if you want to join us.

A friend of mine who live in Bayview was telling me about that trail. What level of difficulty is it?

I've done part of it, from the Bayview side. Nothing overly difficult, but definitely for the little bikes. Let me know if you want to join us. Not sure time yet, I'll post up once we finalize it.

Kinda on a ridge trail, then it drops down, back up. Fun climbs, just be ready.

Well I'll be spoiling all my ADV cred for the meeting by showing up in a cage but I'll be there this eve

Raining too hard and have to pick up some stuff that is not able to be carried on the bike easy.

Either way, its low enough that it should be snow free by now...

Think I'm gonna hit newport mx early then try to rip some bass lips after that. Figure the mx will kick my butt in a couple hours!

Jimmy The Heater wasn't the only cage at the gathering, so I'm thinking his Adv cred is still intact....

Nice meeting all of you that I hadn't met, and good to see the two I already met.

Terrific meetup and one person even showed up on a motorcycle. OK the meetups are about meeting and getting to know each other - no bikes required. Good thing as we all would lose our ADV cred.....

It was nice meeting those I hadn't met before and it's always good to see the rest of you.

Best of all we have a tenative plan for a campout down at Rock Lake. Private property with miles of trails on farm land. Sort of like Odessa but with more trees. For those that don't know where Rock Lake is it's just north of Ewan, WA or NW of St Johns, WA. The area we would camp is the land NE of the lake. (I think I have that right). Anyone else interested in this?

South side of the lake, east end. It's all tentative, and I would like Ladybug and maybe one or 2 others to come check out the property to see if it's worth hosting anything there before we make any more concrete plans.

I've been riding on this place for my whole life and I'm not objective to be honest.

Will let ya'all know if this is going forward after the scouting mission
